From spring celebrations, to Mother's Day crafts and dinosaurs, there is a ton to do this first weekend of May in the Seacoast. Here are Macaroni KID's picks for five things to do with your family.




1. Dover Spring Fling






The annual Dover Spring Fling is happening this weekend with several retail shops participating for some special events. (May 4, 8 am - 7 pm)


2. Special Storytime with Bob Shea






Visit Water Street Bookstore in Exeter for a fun storytime with author and illustrator Bob Shea. A drawing demo, book signing and freebies are included. (May 4, 10 am)


3. Kids Mother's Day Craft Classes






Churchill's Garden Center in Exeter is holding two craft classes for kids to make something special for Mother's Day. One class is for kids ages 5 -10, while the other is for those 11 or older. (May 5, 11 am & 2 pm)


4. Dino Day with Sage Entertainment



It's Dino Day at the Children's Museum of NH in Dover! Join Sages Entertainment for a morning full of dinosaur themed activities. (May 5, 9 am - 12 pm)


5. Children's Day






This annual festival in Portsmouth celebrates all things kids!  Enjoy an afternoon sponsored by local downtown businesses consisting of a Block Party, fun activities and entertainment. (May 5, 12 pm - 4 pm)
